The White Caps House

Nestled on the clifftop above Motunau Beach this Weekend retreat offers spectacular views over the pacific ocean. Thoughtful connections between outdoor and indoor living spaces as well as providing a layout that allows even larger groups to occupy the space without feeling crowded.

The exterior consists of concrete, timber and TARC's Single Lock Standing Seam. The metal cladding is manufactured from Prefa's coil coated aluminium in a white finish. The aluminium in combination with Prefa's P10 coating creates a durable, easy to maintain envelope for the harsh coastal conditions.

TARC liaised closely with Three Sixty Architecture to develop the layout which compliments the proportion of the buildings and to ensure the minimalist detailing achieves the clean look desired.
