the heart of Christchurch’s West End business district
Sitting next to the Avon River, in neightbourhood to the Bridge of Remembrance the PWC Centre is a cornerstone of Christchurch's CBD. The impressive Facade along Cashel Street is stepped, creating multiple facets which harmonize with its surroundings.
TARC's Pe2 Aluminium cassette cladding brought a non-combustible cladding solution to the top level of this building and other areas. With it's adaptability it provides a great solution to the complex area's like the north-west corner, where the negative detail between the Pe2 cassettes adds a visiual element enhancing the design language of the building.
The PWC Building won the 'Commercial Architectural Award, 2017 Canterbury Architecture Awards' and was best in category at the 'RCP Commercial Office Property Award, Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards 2017'.
